In Saskatchewan, after a plaintiff and defendant have filed their papers with the court, the next mandatory step in the process is mediation.  All mediations are conducted by the provincial Dispute Resolution Office.  Ray Friesen is a contractor with the DRO and as such is involved in most of the civil suits that are mediated in Swift Current.
